- Hi my name is Jason Hearn and i am a filmmaker from Cape Town South Africa.I am Producer , Director and DOP of The Africa Film Project which started early 2009 and will be complete end of 2010. The Africa Project will showcase the best that this continent has to offer - its surfers, its waves, its people,it's cultures and its places.2 years may seem long to shoot a surf film,but as we say over here"theres no rush in Africa.Quality takes time.Enjoy
